Hello and welcome to Nicky's Niche on the Net.  I am a retired California Highway Patrol Information Technology Commander who does a little web design consulting, high-energy driving, and whatever else strikes my fancy in my spare time.  You'd think I have a lot of that, being retired, but my job as project manager for the landscaping of an acre of property in Northern California keeps me pretty busy.  I parent a high-maintenance Maine Coon cat named Sanderson Nicholas Wilson-Vetter, who would love to tell you about himself.  He keeps a diary in addition to other activities, so I have to stay on my toes.  Oh, and I'm also an ordained minister.  Variety is the spice of life.
